Firstly, I rarely comment on the staff at an office because the doctors and therapists are what’s really important to me, however the frontline people at the Brick office need to be commended for their warm, friendly and uplifting dispositions and their organizational skills. I have been working with Dr. Daknis for a neck injury since October 2021. He has been diligent with different procedures to repair the damage that was done instead of staying with the same procedure as some doctors from my past have done. I am now on my third procedure which is acupuncture. I was anxious to try it and I have not been disappointed. Nilesh Shah, the acupuncturist, is a genius. Right from the beginning he told me that the acupuncture will take time so not to be discouraged. I have had about 7 sessions now and the differences I’m experiencing are remarkable. My neck no longer feels like it’s holding up 1000lbs and the movement is wonderful. I’ve also been dealing with scar tissue issues and the acupuncture is doing wonders with that too. Nilesh makes you very comfortable while the session takes place, with soft lights and calming piano music. Can’t wait to see how far I come when the sessions finally end.
