Last Year I called in July to see Dr. for my regular eye check up. I was told that Dr. for new patient is not available until December end. I made an appointment ~3-4 months advance. A day before of my appointment, I was told that Dr. is not available so they cancel my appointment. Next appointment was day before Christmas, I confirmed my appointment to have eye check up before my end of year. On day of appointment, I received phone call mentioning cancel appointment as Dr. is not available. Due to all factors, I lost my eye check up in a year. I thought this center is as known as eye care and surgery center so one or another dr. will be available to have satisfactory response to patient. I am wondering about lake full staff of doctors or lake or patient service?

If you want to feel like a peasant and a burden on the staff and the doctor, then this is the place for you. Apparently being able to get an appointment within two weeks, you best be sure to self diagnose and know that have some serious eye issues. The staff and doctor spent most of their time typing and clicking than talking, so it's a great place if you don't like talking to people. Two stars for knowing that my eyes are 👌 though!

Ok for general eye checkup. Definitely you are just a number to this place and sometimes there is a long wait because they overschedule. Takes numerous phone calls and faxes to get a response sometimes. fyi only - eyeglass prescriptions good for 2 years in NJ, contacts prescriptions good for 1 year.
