New owners, still need to get the reservation system in order. They did not have records of the last two times we had stayed there, had to get cc receipts to prove we had already paid, nothing like having someone tell you to pay again because they had no record of our payment. We had been going there for the last 4 years with another family (always camped next to each other with reservations made in advance) and the others were told they had to go to another less requested space far away. Also the last time we stayed there we pulled into our space and the person mowing was going so fast that dirt and rocks were flying out of control towards the campers. Not a good start for that stay. The pool was not open for 90 degree Memorial Day weekend but still required to pay full price.

This is the best campsite you can get! It’s beautiful, clean, and outstanding services. The new pool is a splash for kids and adults. If your looking for a SAFE family friendly environment This is it! Bringing your children to a place you TRUST is a big deal! Let me explain: Ms Lindsey listed in the review comments gave this establishment a bad review. In reality she failed to mention that this establishment took the right actions and measures after her children called my 12 year old daughter a “COLORED MONSTER”. The owners handled the whole situation very well and with the upmost respect. I can not thank them enough for not tolerating Racism! As for Ms Lindsey and her family I pray you teach her children how to be good human beings. You should be ashamed of yourselves for your behavior as adults. I personally consider your bad comments against this Establishment more harassment.

This place is wonderful so many improvements done by the new owners ….new pool going in cuz the old pool was falling in, the dead trees that needed to come down along time ago, town water and a fence around the campground to keep the children safe from predators to major clean up around the pond and the river banks to seasonal’s taking pride in their sites and needless to say what other camp grounds have a restaurant/bar that serves amazing food and has live music on the weekends. As a seasonal camper myself we’re always kind and friendly to the weekenders that come in. We consider this place our second home!

Worst campground I have ever been to. The owners are extremely rude and made it very clear to me that they only care about their seasonal campers and the locals that come to the bar. This is not a family friendly campground at all. The playground is falling apart and the pool had no water and looked absolutely disgusting. Read their campground rules under about us on their website. I wish I had before booking this dump. I would not recommend this place to anyone! I will never go back along with the 10 other families that were with us! STAY AWAY
