We would really like to share our experience with Twin Lakes Pools in Cooper City, FL. They are extremely unprofessional and do not follow through on customer concerns. This negative review follows over a year of negotiations trying to complete a costly renovation job we began in Mar 2021. The initial meeting in the showroom was a positive and friendly experience that inspired confidence. However, Earl, the owner did not stand behind his product nor provide customer satisfaction going forward. Whenever we reached out, we were understandably first routed to the foreman (Don) and admin assistant (Kim), but when the issues escalated, Earl was not readily available and when he did come to the property, he was abrupt, rude and inflexible. While we were discussing the issues, they sent us a Lien notice, instead for fixing the issues. During the course of the project, we transitioned between two foremen. The original one, James, lacked any sense of professionalism. His temper was easily sparked. He threw and shattered pavers out of anger at our home. The cause of his distress was triggered in that particular case when we mentioned the poor quality of work from Twin Lakes hired team of sub-contractors (Affordable Pavers and Martins Pavers) who took inordinate amounts of time, played loud music on the job site (as we are working from home on the flip side of the window), used profanity, and did a sloppy job. The team left the demolition material for such a long period of time in front of our house that we were contacted by the HOA. We were able to switch over to a more competent foreman, Don. He was both professional and competent. Because of the switch, there was a very long extension to getting the project complete in total about 6 months. After 6 months of back and forth, Twin Lakes ceased to reply to any of our emails. The end product was a very frustrating experience for an expensive job that was poorly done. Our expectations were not unreasonable. We concurrently replaced our windows and doors and our roof without issue. Aside from this narrative overview, other details that contributed to the poor quality of this experience are: • The job that was stated to complete in 4-6 weeks took over 6 months • Supervisors were absent during the workday • Quality of the contractors was questionable (Affordable Pavers and Martins Pavers) and the contractors who did the diamondbrite, and their work reflected their poor skillset • Pavers were not leveled, and gaps were left between adjoining pavers • Diamondbrite was stained from the beginning • Prior to applying the sealant, they did not remove the sand on the tiles • Dumped remaining pool cement in the back of our property by the lake • Left the debris on our front lawn along with the trash from their lunches • They installed a heatpump that did not work, and we had to pursue its repair through the company • Any phone calls and emails were initially ignored and eventually responded to with an excuse of vacation, will call you back, is busy, etc… and we have not received replies.

The guys that work here are very knowledgeable and helpful. Great neighborhood place for pool supplies and bbq grills. I love my green egg that my wife purchased from this store.
