Dr Cardenas is an awesome doctor. The reason im giving this one star is due to his front desk. In particular to one individual the puerto rican lady is awfully rude and needs to be gone! Very poor customer service and is not professional at all. She never wants to help and just blows his patients away. Like why is she going to argue something that the doctor approve or that my insurance is telling me. I have an issue with an authorization not obtained shes going to sit there and tell me over the phone that since i didn't get the authorization its my fault and have to pay it. No lady you are wrong the provider has to obtained authorization and they have 18 months from date of service to get it and have insurance pay it. Strongly considering on looking for another practice because of her. Front desk is the first impression of the practice and should have great customer service. My family has been seeing him for years and never had any issues until now with her.

I wish I was not writing this, this doctor has been my family doctor since I was a child and now that I need to make an appointment for my son, no answer. I have left two voicemails in the last two days to make and appointment yet not call back.
