Nice, smaller public library. The staff were incredibly helpful! They gave me a mini tour of the library and even helped me with the self check out when a book wouldn't scan and my hands were full. My preschooler enjoyed the toys available for her to play with. There is an infant play area available for parents and their infants/toddlers with an interactive wall. Their children's graphic novel section is quite impressive! I do think it may be useful to have more seating available for parents in the kids section of the library instead of just a bench by the infant area. Overall, it's a nice library that will be a regular destination for our family.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful here. It’s very easy to find books my kids are actually interested in from popular items like The Avengers or Dog Man, to knew finds like Ninjar-rella. It’s not huge but it’s well done

I've been to quite a few libraries in my life, but not once have I been to a library so welcoming, clean, plus friendly and helpful as Waukee Library. Every time I go to the Waukee Public Library, I feel safe and welcomed. I love the wide variety of books and movies, and the comfy seats are a wonderful bonus! I also will say that the staff that works there are kind and helpful! I definitely recommend going to the Waukee Public Library.
