Great spot to stop, stretch your legs, walk a dog and visit the restroom facilities. The staff are friendly & hard working to keep the building clean, the grounds neat. Vending machines are inside. Texas does a great job on rest stops with decor reflecting the local area.

Clean inside and out restrooms are very well kept up with there are snack machines also lots of parking for 4 wheelers and big trucks inside theres some historical photos of the trains that ran through the area back in the day plus the natives that lived there keep up the great work Texas 😎🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We have visited both the northbound and southbound rest areas north of Livingston. We have stopped in our motorhome while passing through and spent a quite night. This is a nice rest area in our experience.

This rest stop was very clean the bathrooms were very clean. shady spots for you to sit at. I felt safe there and it had a playground for kids to play at. Good place for you to have a picnic if you were actually doing some long traveling. good spot to stop and rest!! These are photos of what’s on display inside the building at the rest stop
