To start off the hotel itself is great. Jae's restaurant, the food and service is very good. If you need to be sleeping before 10 pm because you have to be up and leaving for work by 5 am. Make sure you don't have a room above / facing the outside patio restaurant. It can get pretty loud. Especially when staff is breaking down for the night. Sounded like a EDM music festival going on for the last hour. I'm a truck driver and used to sleeping in loud environments while sleeping in the truck. But the bass and music was a little over the top.

Nice location, there is a restaurant in the hotel. Clean room, nice atmosphere, had a housekeeper open our door after one knock at 9am. Found out it was a mistake and the receptionist called to apologize. Aside from that, everything was ok.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms and well-maintained/up-to-date rooms & quiet rooms as well. Jae’s restaurant downstairs is just cherry on top. Very happy. Multiple Electric Vehicle chargers are available. Plenty of parking space. Guido’s marketplace is a splendid grocery store which is just a quick walk away and so is the Stop & Shop. The rear of the hotel has a Solar panel field. The next time I am in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, I will most likely stay here again.

This would definitely be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the end of our experience. Let me start though by saying that making the reservation checking in and our stay was amazing. The staff was more then accommodating to my disbelief they were able to do an early check in time through the Hilton honors reservation line which was so helpful and booking was extremely easy. Also, something that shocked us was that I reached out on here just the night before checking in as my wallet was stolen and I hadn’t gotten a replacement id I wanted to be sure they’d accept a picture of my Drivers license instead and was shocked to get a response that it wouldn’t be a problem. Checking in was easy the room was perfect comfortable and clean we had planned on staying one night and ended up staying for 3. The only problem came nearing the end of our stay when we decided that we’d stay another night and make it 4 total. I spoke with the front desk the night before and was told they would have to check as it was going to be busy and we may not be able to extend our room for another night. After checking I was told that it wouldn’t be a problem and that they confirmed us for a fourth night. However, the following morning to my surprise they called and reminded us of check out time and when I informed them that we had added another night they said that this wasn’t the case and that they were fully booked. I’m not sure what happened but as they had been so accommodating we didn’t make a big deal of it and said we may need a little extra time as obviously nothing was packed as we thought we’d be staying. The manager I believe called the room shortly after and said that we would have to be out as soon as possible because they needed the room I informed her what happened and said we were packing but was told that I never confirmed another night was already late checking out and 5 mins later we had the manager along with a man from staff at the door who were extremely rude and proceeded to wait outside the door for the 15 mins or so that it took to finish getting our things together and as we were waiting on a ride we brought all our luggage to the back entrance which they angrily and awkwardly watched us do offering no assistance but reminding us that we needed to hurry. I was so surprised by this change as everything from before and during our stay went so extremely smooth one of the absolute best experiences I’ve had with any hotel and I made sure to tell them this. I could see if I hadn’t already been informed that we were all set and confirmed for another night their actions may have been warranted however we weren’t just being inconsiderate in fact they were. Upon reviewing my receipt I saw a possible explanation for this change in attitude. I was given the nightly rate I had upon first checking in which was an amazing deal of $120 a night when we checked online for the prices of local hotels including the Hilton garden inn we discovered that the rate per night had gone up to almost $400 a night which led us to assume that obviously they no longer wanted to extend someone staying for a fraction of that which is why tho I was informed the night before that the extra night was confirmed that wasn’t the case by the following morning. Tho I can’t be sure that was the case it seems likely. All in all if they’d just been more considerate and polite upon our leaving it wouldn’t have bothered me as much as it does.
