Often travel from Las Vegas to nephew at Fresno or brother in Bay Area. Even though I stop to charge my car, my own restroom breaks do not always line up with charge time. So, I look for rest stops and stop there. Like this stop breaks up the trip into the Bay Area, and saves me having to cross my legs attempting to make it to next charger location BTW, there are no "provided restrooms" at charger locations. If you get there when a nearby business is open, you may survive, otherwise all night grocery or late nite Drug stores are good options. This rest stop is well maintained. Has picnic areas and areas dogs can walk. Many people, including me, pick up after our dogs (newspaper plastic bags are best and last several pickups).

It was open but shady people hanging around doing "business". I sleep at rest stops fairly often but i would not even rest here. Zero truckers when i was there, another bad sign. The southbound rest area across the highway here is CLOSED also. No rest for weary drivers
