I had to switch my ro9m at the LAST MINUTE as the first hotel was HORRID. I called here, literally in tears, they were SO KIND! The room was so clean, the pool is too and OPEN.. the staff so prompt with service. For example, we needed a shower curtain and it was 5 minutes for one to be put in! I get the impression that it is a FAMILY run business as I could see EVERYONE at work when I got there. The young man at the desk was so polite and professional, the people cleaning the rooms, and the people working on the grounds were very friendly and respectful! I will book again and again here as I work in Lenox for the summer!

Positive: nothing Negative: The hotel room door says "non-smoking room" but when we entered the room, you can smell the strong odor of cigarette smoke. The previous guests covered the smoke detector alarm with foil. The bed sheets have holes caused by cigarettes.

. The room looked nice and was clean and very comfortable however the remodel wouldnt have passed my inspection...the missing tile underneath the carpet made the floor uneven and they should have scoured the mold on top of the shower before wall papering. The wall paper job in the bathroom was sub par in many spots. The breakfast was limited but okay. For a quick night stay the reasonable price was okay.

Positive: There was always a staff member cleaning,sweeping or doing something productive. The desk staff was informative and courteous. The pool was very nice although the air temp was cool for swimming..again I saw staff tending to the pool often. Negative: My stay was very good. However a friend had another room and she reported the carpet being and cigarette burns in her sheets.
