Bandit Valentine was treated by Hallie Olson DVM and her nurse on 09-29-2022. Bandit had a leg issue and several cancer tumors which I was unaware of. Bandit and I were treated with the utmost respect and gentle care. I am so appreciative of their care and caring attitude towards Bandit who is in Heaven now. Thank you so much for helping us both through a very difficult time. Sheila Valentine

They way they helped me with my girls, and assisting me in the tough choice to let them go, I won't go anywhere else

Very professional and friendly staff. Scheduled an appointment quickly and had answers about our pets within a very short time. Dr. Winfield is amazing! She was so caring and compassionate when we had to put our cat to sleep. She discussed every detail and was thorough in making sure we knew what to expect, and offered her support. We are appreciative of how much time she spent with us. Also, they have a quiet grieving room with couches and comfortable chairs along with an ottoman for your pet without the clinical feel of being in a veterinarian's exam room. We are so appreciative of all their help.

How can u tell if a dog is pregnant or not

Keri Krueger | Oct 16, 2020
Companion's Choice Animal Hospital | Oct 16, 2020

Dogs can have very subtle symptoms of pregnancy, and other times can have what is called a "false pregnancy", where they even produce milk but aren't actually pregnant. Because their symptoms can be misleading, we recommend a blood test or ultrasound to confirm any possible pregnancies. Please call our office if we can be of further assistance to you: 402-462-2234

Do they see reptiles and birds here or just mammals?

We see dogs, cats, and most pocket pets except snakes and birds. If you happen to be a snake or bird owner, please give us a call for a recommendation.

can u tell me how to cure a cat cold

TNT Channel | Oct 17, 2018
Companion's Choice Animal Hospital | Oct 17, 2018

This is a great question! Cat “colds” are very common and they can have multiple causes. Unfortunately for our kitty and cat friends, they are prone to getting several upper respiratory viruses that may cause sneezing, nasal and ocular discharge, a decreased appetite, and sometimes oral ulcerations. If that weren’t enough, they are also susceptible to bacterial and other infections, which all usually present with about the same symptoms. It would be best to have an examination done on your pet to determine if the cause is viral, bacterial, or something else in order to determine the best treatment(s). We offer treatment options ranging from antibiotics, to eye ointments, to anti-viral medications, to breathing treatments, depending on the cause of the infection, as well as the age and size of the patient. Please call us so we can help your little friend feel better as soon as possible! Thanks for the question!
