This is very basic, no TV, however Wifi. Claw footed tub comfy bed, refrigerator and a.m. coffee and lite snacks. But that being said it's really cool staying there. We had a major thunder storm to go to sleep by.

Charming hotel in a historic town. Many people have worked hard to renew this town and its buildings. I was quite impressed and enjoyed my stay! Thank you! We will stay again if we cross paths. We slept great and appreciated our time here.

The Ryan hotel is quaint with simply appointed rooms. Ours had a claw foot tub. The room was spacious and had a dresser, mini-fridge, desk and chair. In the mornings they have coffee and assorted bars and fruit. The bags of grapes were a nice and appreciated touch. Now the not so good. The bed was noisy, just springs and a light covering with no headboard. The sheets were worn thin and in spots the fabric had decayed into a lattice with missing spots. Since this was an older property and the first time we had stayed here, it seemed fairly normal and other than mentioning it to my wife it was ignored and forgotten about After we ended our stay and returned home I received a phone call asking me to call back. When I did so I was asked if I knew anything about the tears in the sheets. I mentioned that I noticed that they appeared to have been heavily bleached and the fabric was thin and the conversation quickly changed. Prior to this I would have characterized the Ryan as charming. No TVs, claw foot tub, tall ceilings. But being questioned about damages that I didn’t cause was unexpected and added an unwelcome taint to an otherwise nice vacation. Donna, the owner, was friendly at check in, but being questioned about sheets, was this really necessary? When I mentioned the condition of the sheets and how I thought they looked like they were washed very hot with a lot of bleach, the conversation turned to hoping my stay was nice. It WAS until the phone call.

Clean, comfortable and convenient to downtown, because it is downtown. Had never been to Wallace. Enjoyed the hotel and enjoyed the town, other than hard to get anything to eat after 8:00 at night. We had a great Breakfast at the high school, Huckleberry Pancakes, as it was the Huckleberry festival that we did not know about until we got to Wallace. Donna, the owner, was super nice and very helpful with letting us know what was available in the town. Would like to come back again. Cool hotel, cool town.

Most rooms have their own bathroom. Not sure about AC. See Sheena's note above. It is a high mountain town. Seldom too hot overnight. We like it there because hostess is so friendly and it's a nice change from plastic motels.
We have 14 rooms and all have a private bathroom except 3 rooms, which share a single use recently renovated bath. Hotelryan.com Thank you !
