Library cards are free for anyone, they just need to provide a government ID and proof that they live in Hastings (utility bill with their name and address, a lease agreement, perhaps some proof of enrollment at one of the local colleges might work)

Do they still have the sitting area upstairs?

My daughter went in there and said it's completely different she said they even had a teen area now but they do still usr the upstairs

The time for storytime varies - depending on the age of the could. You may check out the times on the website. Go down to EVENTS. Select events. You'll see the various storytimes and other events. Or you may call the library or visit and ask.
