The first person I spoke to there was very helpful, confirming that my brother had in fact died. The investigator was very unhelpful, unfeeling, very matter-of-fact and in my opinion, needs to get training with his people skills, if he’s going to do a job like that. I live in a state far away from Florida and wanted to get the specific details of my last remaining siblings death.Public servants need to have good people skills when interfacing with the public, especially in regards to sensitive topics like the death of a loved one.

The Brevard County Medical Examiners Office was helpful and they provided me with all the information I needed concerning my Dad.

Incompetent. Doesn't show any compassion at all for family. Of no help what so ever with anything needed.

Why didn't anyone inform me that my husband died but police show up at his father who disowned him?

That's awful... Its the authorities' duty to inform the legal next of kin of a death if no notification has been given. I'm so sorry this happened to you.. Did they ever notify you or did you find out through his father or social media? (By the way I'm not an employee here).
