If you’re looking for a chlorine free water park, this is it. We drive up from charlotte to go here and you could completely believe you were visiting a water park in Costa Rica. Be sure to pack food and drinks since the snack bar just has mostly candy and chips. Also know that this is a family owned water park and only accepts cash.

This place is a little rough around the edges, but ultimately a good time. I went here as a kid and recently took my kids and they absolutely loved it. We were there for the better part of 5 hours and they still begged not to leave. Sure there are things that could be updated but considering the cost of everything/everywhere else has at least doubled, if not tripled, in the past year I’d say their admission price is pretty unbeatable. It was $35 for myself and 3 boys for the whole day. They have slides for all ages, my boys couldn’t get enough of the big slide or the rope swing. Make sure you prepare for cold, but clean, water and zero cell signal since it’s basically on the side of a mountain. Other than that be ready to have some fun!

I was afraid the water was going to be freezing cold but it was perfect!! Took the grandkids and we all had a wonderful time!! These are just pics of the little slide. The big slide was amazing!!!

•The concrete in the pool itself needs repainted and any little patches that have are been worn off. There wasn’t anything sharp or any big holes that I felt and I swam in every section. •The water is cold & fresh, it isn’t dirty like you think either. It’s not sparkling clean obviously, but it’s cleaner than the lake Norman or James many of us have swam in. It looks dirtier due to the concrete needing redone as well. Overall I’d recommend & I think the price of $11 should be lowered unless they update some things.

The water is 100%, non recycled, fresh mountain stream water. There may be a little orange/brown hint to the water, but rest assured that it is normal and better for you than chlorine or salt

I'm wondering the same thing
Last I heard they are not open yet. They are hoping to open Tuesday. They have a facebook page they have been posting updates on

Their fb page says that they will be open on the 4th but you may want to call and make sure

They are nearly impossible to reach by phone, but the hours on their web site are accurate.
Yes
I would suggest calling them.
I was just there today and the lady said next weekend is the last weekend they will be open. Until Labor day weekend...they will be open if weather is nice then.
Kids $6 Adults $9
No, there are also no lifeguards, up to you to keep your children safe.
No, the bathroom/changing rooms are pretty basic and get borderline filthy throughout the day. Do not plan on showering here. Yes, you can bring your own everything, even a small grill. Think of this place as an upgraded creek, not a water park with facilities. Do not get me wrong, the place is fun, chill, and i totally recommend it, but it is BASIC.
It's cold but definitely doesn't take long to get use to it
$9 for 12 and up $6 for ages 2-11 and 1 and under are free
Not te kind of place that would have an event. Im sure there will be plenty people there to celebrate freedom, and enjoy the park, but that should be all. You can bring a grill and if you get there early score a prime spot next to the creek.
No its cheap or you can take your own pack a cooler its the way to go!!
The park is now open for 2018 season! We do serve snacks but not meals. Our menu consists of corndogs, red baron Pizzas, nachos and cheese, as well as other snack foods.
I called and asked and they will not be open.
Hopefully Saturday June 9, 2018. If not the owner stated a few days after that.
Don't think so
Per the owner they are hoping to open Saturday June 9th 2018, but if not a few days after that. Monday thru wed, closed thurs, open fri, sat, sun.
No, the water is constantly cycled which eliminates any bacteria. I should know as I have been swimming their for 36 years and my mother for more than 42 years as the place was built for her. My kids now swim there on a daily basis.
NO they close when school starts back up in August per the owner.
The deepest is indeed 8 feet deep and yes; children 11 and under are $6.00.
