Second update: we left futiva and went with Verizon for our VOIP office phone-they offer a better product and are much better with their customer service. UPDATE: after receiving futiva‘s response, I must update my rating to a one star. The truth of the matter is they didn’t contact us until April, two months after our credit had been changed, due to the company being changed over hands-which our sales rep was aware of. When ‘customer service’ called in April they were rude, and said that they were going to charge us a fee for just the phone call for telling us that our credit card wasn’t running-it was more like a threat than a courtesy call. The person was the opposite of helpful and gave vague instructions on how to change the card myself on their online ports, which I immediately did in April. May comes and I get a call saying our credit card is still declined and they are char ging us $10 to let us know. When I mentioned to them that I changed our card through their portal in April, and that I would like the fee waived- the horrible customer service person said she couldn’t help me. And she was exasperated that I even asked. This is a small town company, but acts like a corporation. They do not care about their customers. They have extra charges for everything, and really they are just a piggyback company on somebody else’s wi-if lines. There are other companies out there that have a better phone and internet service with better customer service that will take care of you WAY better than Futiva. Like Clearwave or even Mediacom. Go somewhere else! Phone service works okay.. The billing department does not email bills as they say they do, and their front desk customer service is largely lacking in customer service. This is the second month in a row I had to call about a billing issue, and the person who answers the phone is rude and not helpful.

I've had their service for quite some time. I actually have more than one connection and I never have any problems with either connection. The only real issue I ever had was someone purposely DDOS attacking me which is not their fault. I've had a few questions in the past and they typically responded as quickly as they could I know I'm not the only person that is a customer. If you think there's a better service around here good luck. I've had a computer business for 20 plus years.. no one is better

Hi JD! No, you do not need a computer to have internet service. You would need a wireless router or we offer Managed Wi-Fi monthly service which includes a carrier grade router. With a router, you would be able to enjoy internet on any device.
