Beautiful sanctuary, nicely appointed but not overdone. Great acoustics. Very nice cross-shaped baptismal font just inside sanctuary. Nice wide doors, handicap accessible. I felt comfortable there!

As my mother - a devout, bedridden Catholic - lay dying in hospice, Skip, the supremely arrogant, unfeeling office assistant for St. Mary's basically tossed aside my urgent request for a priest to come administer her last rites!! Horrendous; absolutely inexcusable. I made the call at 8 am Wed Oct 5th, 2016 and was told the next three days were not at all possible as Fr. John was too busy with other commitments. He might be free to come on Sat but no guarantees. I explained that she'd had a massive TIA, was unable to speak but nodded vigorously when I asked if she was ready to see a priest. His rude response, spoken in an extremely arrogant tone, was, "Well, how can we give her communion if she can't swallow?". What a flippant, uncaring reply. It's the ritual she needed not his totally irrelevant commentary on whether or not she was physically fit enough to warrant a visit. "I'll see what I can do but no promises" was the best I got. It took a 2nd phone call from me and sucking up to his monstrous ego, explaining that Mom would very possibly pass away before Sat (she did) to get the response I should have gotten on the first call. "I'll let Fr. John know and if he can't come I may be able to come in the evening". We are so very grateful Mom's friend, Fr. John, found the time to dash out to see her prior to attending to a funeral that morning. She died 13 hours later on the evening of Oct 5th. Yet another (in this case, well deserved) black eye for the Catholic church!! I intend to report this to the Diocese of Belleville,. Thank you, Skip Fox, for having greatly increased our anxiety and burden during a terrible day fraught with grief. Shame on you.

They have two young Priests that wow their preaching was so impressive! I was just a visitor to the church and I left thinking and contemplating the sermon. It applied to me and to my life and to everyone that attended that night. The sanctuary was absolutely breath taking! A lot of room. The members were very welcoming. If you're looking for a Catholic church to join or just passing through and would like to attend mass, they would love to have you and I would highly recommend. I asked and was told the have mass at 5pm every Saturday night and then Sunday every Sunday morning and I don't know the time.
