I know that they are going through renovations, but this place is great. They will bend over backwards to get you books you need. As a teacher, they will pull books for me. They don’t ban books…as no library should…so I can find everything I need. I just moved here and was worried. I’m so pleasantly surprised with the amazing staff.

Had to update my library card. Still baffles me why democrats are against identification for voting, but are all in on identification for a basic library card.

You can check on the Bloomington Public Library website catalog.
I don't know. But they have an online chat that can answer that question.
Hi Kathleen, We started offering tax assistance back in February, and it ends tomorrow (April 7). Unfortunately, it is by appointment, and there are no appointments remaining.
Steve Balbach is correct. Bloomington Library owns "Shine Your Icy Crown" by Amanda Lovelace, but it's checked out with a due date of 7.30.21. You can put it on hold using your online account, or you can call the library and ask a librarian to put it on hold for you. If you opt for the later, you'd call 309.590.6168. Here is a link to the title in our online catalog: bit.ly/3AZKgUy
As of 11.9.20 … The cost too print or to make copies is: • Black and White - 15¢/page • Color - 50¢/page
Yes. We have an opening for a part-time custodian. You can read about the job and the application process at bit.ly/bplemploy. This particular job posting closes on July 26.
If you'd like to access the electronic version of this magazine, visit http://bit.ly/eMagsOnline Scroll to RBDigital, and click. Enter your Library Card Number and PIN. Click the Magazines side of the screen. Search for "Family Handyman". If you've never used our RBDigital resource, you'll be prompted to create an account. If you have any problems, call the Adult Services Desk after 9am at 828.6093.
You must be a Bloomington resident to get a library card from our library. If you are a Bloomington resident, a parent or legal guardian's signature is required for anyone under the age of 17 to obtain a library card. The child and the parent must both be present. By signing the registration form, parents/guardians acknowledge responsibility for the items borrowed, fees incurred, and their child's selection of materials. Emancipated minors who have proof of their court ordered emancipation may receive an adult card without parental consent. If you attend school in either Unit 5 or District 87, you should have received a Student Library Card from the media specialist at your school.
