Idle Hour Biergarten

This is a great little spot to stop for a drink and some snacks! The staff was incredibly kind, and there was plenty of seating in spite of being a smaller establishment. It's right around the corner from beach access making it easy to pop in after a hot day on the beach. We had cheese curds and two beers, unfortunately they were out of one of the beverages I was looking for but the server was knowledgeable and was able to quickly offer up a replacement that ended up being really good! Kudos to their knowledge and to their fast service, we can't wait to come back. There is seating inside and outside as well, parking is on street or in one of the side parking lots near the establishment. Overall it was easy to find and easy to park the vehicle even on a Saturday. It could be because it was off season but still a great experience. The area is also very walkable and there are a bunch of little shops to check out too.

Stopped in for a beverage thinking this would be a kitschy German themed biergarten. Less German than expected as it is a beachy interpretation of the theme, but still worth at stop. The beer selection is good with a few true German beers in tap and though we didn't eat, the food around us looked good. We'll stop again.

A german biergarten that is out of their 4 german beers is … kinda sad?
