Complete joke. You "sign up" in the queue to get in line. I didn't get a confirmation that I was signed up, but I could see my place in line. The individual at the door confirmed I was in line and would get a text or call and have 20 minutes to show up. I left to run errands as I would be close and checked my place in line. I moved up a few spots then I started moving down the line and losing progress. I eventually was kicked out of the queue completely without a text or call. When I tried calling the office, you only get an automated message for them to "call you back." I wasted 3 hours of my time with no progress made. Don't waste your time here. It's was a horrible experience and typical government work.

This place is the worst. I’m new to the state just trying to get my plates. I’ve gone in multiple times with the paperwork they’ve asked for and I have still yet to get my plates. Every time I go in something is wrong with it. Workers are so rude. They don’t care. It’s so disrespectful the way the have an attitude the second you walk up to greet them. I was the first one in line, the day had just started! If I could give them negative stars I would.

Reread the driver's instruction handbook for the number of times.
You may need the first time plus 2 receipts with your address. Check the MO Department of Revenue website for additional information.
To renew your license plates you will need your vehicle registration renewal notice, a safety inspection, Verification of personal property tax previous year, Statement of non-assessment of residence from city of St. Louis, current insurance identification card.

No, you will need to go in and have your social security card or passport, 2 pcs of mail no older than 30days old that has your address on it ans it cant be junk mail, take your birth certificate just in case. I iniw im missing something but I cant remember. Also if your license just expired recently (a yr or 2 I believe) you can still renew it. But you will still need those same items
You get a temporary paper permit. And you get actual license card in mail in 2-3 weeks.
