Don't know much about the company. The outside of some of the apartments look subpar, but doable!

Rented with Dandell twice. Both times the building owner sold to another, and other property managers took over. The biggest reason so many don't like Dandell is that their places aren't the greatest when it comes to being kept up. That said, they are also cheap (low rent). And you get what you pay for. They do come out and fix stuff, but don't expect it to be replaced, it's likely only going to be fixed (patched up to keep being used). The owners of rental properties are cheap, and use Dandell to manage their properties, and since the owners put very, very little money into their buildings, you can't expect to get high end stuff when you're paying the lowest rent on the block. That's their biggest selling point, they've got low rents for what is in the area. They do have some gems in the mix, but you're going to have to continually look, and look, and look until you find one (then hope the same owner keeps it, because since it's a rental, the owners can sell at anytime without giving any notice to tenants). I also love the fact that since they're rarely on the property, you don't have to worry about them opening your apartment and possible theft.
