Waiting for 2 hours for a boot and no one came. They greeted people who arrived after me and didn't give me anything for the pain, just a co pay.

Not a good experience 216.00 dollars to wait in a room . To be told they could not do anything for my hand . Dr.Leak said if it still bothers me in 6 months to come back . Well it is bothering me now for 2 months . I was hoping for some answers today after suffering this long. when I was telling them that I was having pain in my head and sharp pains all they could say was could be my thyroid. which has nothing to do with my hand in a rock inside it. I feel like they really let me down today very disappointing place to go. The pain in my head has not started until I have had this this foreign object in my hand. I'm very worried about it causing an infection and traveling .I understand it's so close to my nerves in my hand. How they know IF it's not affecting my nerves in my head now? Very concerned that they neglecting their patients just because I don't have insurance. I was willing to have surgery or whatever it took to get this Pebble or rock out of my hand. I'm surprised they didn't send me with some type of antibiotic just to make sure it wasn't infected it makes no sense.? Why would my regular doctor send me here if it wasn't a concerned? You don't go to a Orthopedics unless its a concern.

All of my doctors, Dr Everman, Dr Brothers, and Dr Pappas, are the top of the list the best However, I don't feel that check in time, in front of all the other patients waiting behind you, is the time to discuss how much you still owe. If the billing is outsourced as I was informed, then why are the check in staff discussing bills. Especially in front of all the other patients? If I did not like the doctors at Ortho SC so much, I would go to another orthopedist even if it was out of state. I should have been told in 2020 that I still owed a deductible and not have waited until 2022 to let me know that I owe a deductible from 2020.

Yes, they do. A friend of mine recently had hand surgery and it went well.
I have never had an issue with orthosc portal. They will give you a quick reply, usually the same day Other portals I've ad issues with but ortho's the best.
