It's a modern, year round big city farmers market. There are your typical craft food vendors indoors and a true old school fresh vegetables and other suppliers of things like honey and spices outdoors over a covered roof. There's even a plant nursery at one end. During the week, less vendors are around, so if you're looking for a more active atmosphere wait until Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, there's a sizable city park that can be accessed behind the market, so if you're looking for somewhere to stretch your or more importantly your kids legs this should meet your needs.
Inside has all kinds of amazing restaurants including a Jamaican restaurant I have yet to try.. It has a huge import store with lots of spices, seeds and those rare ingredients. It also has freezer foods and some produce options.. Lots of different things... Beside it is a coffee shop..
Outside has a huge garden area to buy plants. Lots of vendors outdoors. Fresh grown, local goods and some imports. You can taste the difference in reg, store bought produce. Vendors have clothing, bags, deserts and more... It is my favorite place to buy home grown goods and spices, as well as incense

Does any one know the lady that sells the Nashville skyline teeshirts. I bought some last year and I’m coming in a few wks and want to go ahead and preorder Thanks a lot
If someone there is selling them the day you go, they often do. It just depends on the vendors and what's open on any given day since everything switches out
Jalapenos will generally be in season later in the summer, at which point you'll have MANY to choose from (red and green ... plus dozens of other pepper varieties).
Our International Pepperfest is September 7.

Mostly on the weekends and holidays, though harvest season is just starting, so you should be seeing more and more over the coming weeks and months.
When are the yellow meat watermelon going to be ready

Nashville Farmers' Market | Oct 17, 2019
Our Watermelon Throwdown event will be Friday, August 16, 5-9 p.m. If any of our farmers will be growing that type, that's the time of year you'll find it.
Theres not enough parking for everyone to do that . let alone enough parking to occupy the entire farmers market . but technically yes since its a far walk and nobody else would do that enough for them to take notice .
They are open on Sundays. Define reasonable. Hit or miss on the Granny Smiths at this time of year. The International market might have some. Just turn left after entering and keep walking until you see the produce.
Absolutely!
The fruit & Veggies are simply scrumptious - Unmatched flavors and freshness.
I would plan on getting there by 2PM though, most vendor's sell everything quickly on Saturdays. Sunday's are a great day as well. You just have to deal with all the tourist. We love our tourism here in Nashville and so will You!
