Love coming out here, beautiful scenery and a clean well kept place.

Beautiful even in the dead of winter....Linda was very nice and helpful. Could use some better communication from the Corps office and campers.

Nice campsite, clean. Great sites for fishing. I would go back.

There are a lot of things I really liked about this campsite. Very tidy and well maintained. Campsites are decently spaced. Quiet. Beautiful view and (for the most part) level concrete pads. But there were a few things I did not care for. The (very) minor complaint is that most of the fire pits are in a place where you can only put chairs on one side. If the smoke blows that way you can’t really move and stay warm. The more serious issue I had was with the bath house. It’s a little bit of a hike if you are at the Juniper loop on the end and the bath house is designed with 4 private rooms with a toilet and a shower. Great, right? Not so much. They only had ONE private bathroom (out of the 4) unlocked. So you have to walk quite a ways to find out there is a line and then hover around while people try to shower or take care of personal needs because it’s a pretty far walk. Why aren’t all 4 of the bathrooms open? It was very frustrating (and uncomfortable) to have to use the restroom and have to wait for two people in front of you to take a shower. It’s an easy fix to open all 4 bathrooms.

Raccoon road in Kiamichi Park.
Dump station is just outside the gatehouse. On the right as you exit.
