I wanted to update my review to give a special shoutout to Colleen Pepe. She is one of the best team members of any residential building. She is so quick to respond to my emails and is always super helpful, thank you Colleen!! Original review from last year below... I have been living at Hamilton Cove since February and couldn't be happier. The amenities are top notch, the gym especially is never crowded. While the firm alarm going off sometimes during the late evening is an annoyance, I would rather this once every few months then it not going off during an emergency situation. The building is very pet friendly (which I've seen positive and negative reviews on, I find it positive) and the amenities are always kept clean. if you live in Tower B or Tower A, they are consistently cleaning the lobby's and elevators. I have never had an issue with maintenance requests and never waited for something to be fixed or addressed. Dan in the management office is super easy to talk to when I have any questions or suggestions. Overall, I think it is a great place to live as a single bachelor/bachelorette or as a couple whom are looking to build their lives together or start a family.

Giving this place 2 stars instead of one as despite overall disappointing experience there still are some nice things about this property. So will start with positive stuff - - Gym - spacious, light and clean overall. Definitely enjoyed my experience there - First floor and fourth floor lounges - pleasant design, usually not crowded, good spot to read - Decent amount of outlets inside apartments Disappointing part - Apartment quality - we moved in to brand new apartment and were unpleasantly surprised with what we got - gaps between outside walls and floor - wind was blowing white dust into apartment which required constant cleaning, AC units are terribly loud and also allow outside air inside the apartment in winter, so it was heating the cold air it let inside, not energy efficient at all ($300-400 bills should not be a surprise). Railings in elevators broke twice in front of me, they literally fell to the floor when i was inside. Water pressure issues/false flood alarms in the middle of the night. - Pool and jacuzzi - we were able to normally use the pool either when it was earlier in the day or late in the evening - the crowd likes to party there and no rules of courtesy are applied - cigars in jacuzzi, drunk public in water playing loud music. You would think that maybe there is security there or staff that might prevent this, but no - they are actually participating - helping with bringing more drinks and at best saying nothing. I also had a bad incident in jacuzzi - the chlorine level was so high that my skin peeled off and my swimsuit discolored, had to throw away. - very irritating and very frequent fire alarms. If you have a small child or work from home, this may be very unpleasant experience. When you are presenting on important zoom meeting and alarm goes off for several minutes holding off everyone on the call, it does not sound like luxurious experience to me. And it wasn’t a one time thing, happens very frequently. Also wanted to add that although there are exhaust hoods inside apartments, they are useless, and windows do not open enough to properly ventilate if you accidentally burnt food or used aggressively smelling cleaning products. - Flies, mice and lanternflies. We didn’t know how to get rid of them all. You cannot open the window in summer to get some fresh air, you will inevitably end up with a flying zoo inside your apartment. We had multiple sticky raid strips completely covered with flies. Mice were also a disturbing problem, I couldn’t believe it can be an issue in such building, but there we were. - Management failed promises - Window cleaning - never happened for our apartment, even though there was a schedule when it should happen. This year they did some cleaning on the balcony glass leaving ugly footprints everywhere, not cleaning after themselves. Some grills on property are either working only on one side, or broken for at least a year, nobody cares. There was a serious leak on the 4th floor corridor, we reported the issue and also brought it to concierge attention. Three weeks later we had maintenance knocking on our doors telling they came to repair our hot water issue. Apparently they thought the leak was in our apartment and they assumed it was ok for us to wait 3 weeks for hot water. - Last but not least - unjustifiable rent increases. Inability to negotiate the price as there is no one sane to negotiate with(your counteroffer is met with higher price then originally offered). Expect at least 30-40% increase to be your new normal here.

Going on 4yrs here & i absolutely cannot complain great staff & especially Colleen Pepe!, she is amazing very outgoing & does whats in her power & reach to help you out in anything, i am very thankful & blessed to be in Hamilton Cove.
