mary mathews is a very rude individual. our office assistant drove from Sumter SC over an hour to show ID and change the mailing address for our property tax notices. two months later after not receiving our 2018 tax notice in the mail we called the office to find out why notice hadn't been mailed. we were told our address had not been updated in the system. when we explained to Mary that our office assistant had already taken a trip to Darlington she told us that that was not true that no one came to change the address. We literally have the print out with the corrected address our assistant brought back to the office from her trip. long story short this office is not professional and they will loose information as well as records and have an attitude about doing simple clerical task.

I would to think Mary Matthews for her great customer service in keeping the doors open passed the official closing time for me to get my taxes taken care of. I had driven 1 hour and 20 min to get there at closing time. She was fast and courteous. I would also like to apologize to the area in which I had to pay my taxes in having them stay late. I know it was not normal practice in which I was told that this "would not happen again" me keeping them 15 minutes past 5pm. But thanks anyway for the assistance provide.
