i love this place. it is so beautiful and secluded. Unfortunately people have absolutely trashed it with their garbage and it doesn’t look like much is being done to clean up or prevent this. the road is absolutely horrible. you can barely make it down anymore in a small car like mine. it’s so sad to see such a lovely place not get the care or respect it deserves

Beautiful place to visit! Hard to believe this awesome place is so close to town, yet you feel like your way out in the woods!

Not a great hiking trail. The northern and western sections are heavily used as horse trails and there is a lot of manure all over the path. Seems like a bad idea as the runoff potentially ends up in the reservoir that is circumnavigated by the path. Nice lake if you can avoid the dung!
