Beautiful antebellum home that is rich in history and paranormal happenings. The staff are very personable and pleasant. Well worth the admission for the Novice hunt.

I was so impressed with it and the gentleman that sat with this in the Parlor and went to the history of the house he was so interesting I could not keep my eyes off of him. And another thing there was a very frail lady sitting beside me just kept staring at me and then I think she grabbed my niece by the arm and just so you know it was a ghost it was just wonderful I recommend it

It is pre civil war built home, one of the few Octagon houses left in the country. A little girl, Mary Elizabeth Caldwell died there after being burn in the kitchen. Also, the upstairs was used as a a hospital during the War. Many pieces of furniture have been brought in from different parts of the country as well. This seemed to amp up the activity. There is a family plot, plus confederate graves and slave graves on the property.
