Great place for a nice walk. Paved and only about 3/4 of a mile around the main loop. Dies have some side trails, didn't have time to explore those.

Small park has a very nice paved 0.7 mile walking trail or you can take the 0.5 mile "short cut". There are monuments for many of the southern states in an area on the hill. There is a large map laying out the laying out the November 30, 1864 Battle of Franklin.

Very beautiful place to hike.

Gen. Bragg wasn't even at Winstead Hill, or anywhere near the battlefield at Franklin.
There is a walking path in the attached park, but it is only about .6miles long. The path up the hill to the overlook contains monuments/memorials to the various Confederate states involved in the war. Not a place to ride bikes.
