Great hike. Be prepared to get your feet wet. Wonderful to have a cold river to walkin from time to time to cool off. One of the best hikes in MOAB.

We had such a fun time on this hike with our dog! We specifically chose this trail as it states that dogs could be off-leash in certain areas. Our dog had the best time walking through the water and strolling along the trail. We went during a rather windy evening so there weren't too many people or other dogs on the trail, so it was perfect-ish. The wind kicks up a lot of sand, so we had to stop a few times to cover our eyes, but we still had a good time. I can definitely see the appeal in coming in the summer as the waterfall and pool at the end would provide a place to cool down! We went in early April, so the water was still a little too frigid to be jumping in. NOTE: You WILL need to walk through water, so bring shoes that can get wet or be open to walking barefoot! And if you bring your pups, PLEASE pick up after them and take the bags BACK to a trash receptacle! It's a privilege to bring them along, so it was disappointing to see a few abandoned bags along the trail.

Very nice, easy hike. Prepare to get your feet wet, we did not bother taking off our shoes on the crossings. Prepare for a lot of people and a lot of dogs. This is a very popular hike, probably due to ease of access. It's really just a walk. There are lots of natural pools to cool down on the way. A lot of people had their dogs off leash but I really don't recommend that because there are so many dogs.

Great hike! Lots of rocks to climb and the path goes across the stream several times. The waterfall is a must see and not too long of a hike to get there. Your feet will get wet.
