Amazing care and service! We normally use a vet that is closer to where we live. Our Husky injured herself on a day ours was closed. It was a huge gash in her chest area that ended up needing over 30 sutures. Anyways, it was 4:30 in the afternoon and a definite emergency. I called one vet and explained and they said they didn't have any openings. That kind of surprised me. I called Rescue Heart next and they said to start heading that way and she'd let the doctor know I was coming. Someone was outside waiting for us, took our Husky right in, and said I could pick her up the next day. They called after the injury was stitched up to let us know how she was doing. They care about all animals regardless of whether you use them as your main vet. What a great team of animal lovers! I highly recommend them! I've used the boarding facility there as well and it's top notch!

This is the only place in Pekin that I trust with my pets health and safety. The veterinarians are extremely kind and equally skilled. I always refer my friends, family and coworkers to Rescued Heart whenever they're having troubles with their pets.

The worst service possible my dog is now on her death bed because they did not see that her intestines were rupturing. They were obviously too focused on getting out the door for the day. Never will bring any of my animals here ever again. Considering this isn’t the first time.

Parents are allowed in with their fur-babies now, at least in the waiting room. I can't say about watching the exam, but you won't hafta wait in your car!
Yes it's a daily rate that they charge. You pay extra for the extra amenities like dog walking or Baths too but that's optional.

sometimes they are able to set up payment plans, but regardless they've got the best service and take very good care of my critters. They're the only veterinary clinic I trust.
