My grandparents were really excited to take us here, and it sounded awesome! However…. My boyfriend and I were less than impressed. My grandfather has a hard time hearing and our server was less than accommodating for that. The biscuits I will say were good, but the rest of our food was awful. Everything came out cold, there was a hair in our omelette, it was just really unappetizing. Hate to leave a review on a cute historical place like this one, but save the drive all the way there. There is plenty of cute historical places in Nashville.

Had to wait 30 minutes but the wait was worth it. You start off with fresh biscuits and jam. Had a Blue Moon which was moonshine with blueberries and lemon and sprite. Very good! Also had a fried chicken salad, also really good, and fresh! Quite a lot of history here and a tourist stand as well. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Nashville!

Music City Platter of 2 eggs any style, protein, choice of fresh toast, pancakes, grits or hash brown casserole. Fresh strawberries too. Biscuits complementary with 2 jams to start. All very good. Only complaint is the portion of country ham was small.

No. They use open table, but there's never availability no matter how far out you search.
Does it smell off? If it it smells even slightly like playdough, throw it out. It could be moldy and make you very sick.
Stop by their country store just left of the restaurant! They have some great rubs, mixes, and Sauces there.
Drive around back for ample parking. It's a short walk to the restaurant & shops.

I’ve enjoyed breakfast for one indoors In the restaurant and also eaten a late lunch out at the picnic tables. The food is so good I always made a point to stop in while traveling. Now I live about an hour away, so I can enjoy their food whenever I want!

Hi Michele! There are a number of items on our menu that do not contain meat. The cafe manager on staff when you visit will be happy to answer any questions you have about ingredients in specific dishes.
There are benches and picnic tables around the property. I'm not sure if you can get food service at them though

As we adhere to, and are known for many of the recipes of these earlier times, and all our food is prepared in a common kitchen, we are not equipped to address special diets of any kind. Hi Marvin, You don’t have to use the entire bag of mix at once, so you shouldn’t have an issue! There are directions on the bag for smaller amounts, and you can save the rest for next time. Hope this helps!
