We used to love parking at the library for various downtown events. The price is right and it’s convenient. However, the last two times we’ve been there, even having left the event early to beat the crowd, it has taken us 30 min to an hour to get out. I truly believe this is because some people are “too nice” and rather than letting out one car, they let out many, not considering the impact to those waiting behind them. Regardless, the library needs to plan better with more exit lanes open following an event or attendants to help manage the flow. We will likely plan to pay more going forward so we don’t have to deal with waiting up to an hour while sitting in our cars just to get out of the parking garage.

Stuck in this garage for over an hour and still paid for this absolute garbage experience. Only one gate was open to accept payment. I live in town and work downtown and I nearly called and uber for $35 just to to bed. Just park on the street and pay the city ticket if you go over. Maybe the money will do some good that way. SP+ Parking 👎👎 this city desperately needs better public transit.

For 10 dlls the day is super good since there are many things close by, we use it on Friday nights to go to Broadway. The other parking lots are more expensive.

Library parking from hell??? Went to this garbage...sorry garage after the Library across the street told me to park there for a couple of hours. Since there's a boot shop and other stores nearby, I wanted to support the local businesses and parked for a little more than 2 hours, saw I had to pay $25! So much more than ever before not to mention that when I pushed the 'hell' button, a cop for hire lookjng guy came over my car without a mask on to ask if I'm OK? Yea, I'm ok, no they're not ok. Didn't spent years in SF to have some boss guy acting like knowing all.. Way to scare people away. Considering not spending any monies downtown to be treated with disrespect while watching junkies asking for change in every corner, even next the garage entrance. For shame....
