I had a fabulous experience at Passport Health Brentwood Travel Clinic. Very knowledgeable staff -- I left having all my questions answered and better prepared for my international travels this year.

Overpriced compared to other local services such as "shots etc." and local pharmacies. Won't take insurance (not that many travel vaccinations are covered) in addition: 93$ for a consultation to try to sell even more expensive vaccinations is ridiculous for out-of-pocket medical care. I just called "Shots etc." And they charge 30$ for a consultation.

As a person who never have't go outside of the country more than 10 years, not know what vaccine to take. Jodi was amazing with recommendations. She care about her patient 's health oversea. I now feel protected and ready to go outside the country. Thank you Jodi.

Fo I need any special vaccinations to travel in May to Dominican Republic?

Dawn Kincaid | Oct 16, 2019
Passport Health | Oct 15, 2021

While many factors dictate the vaccines necessary to stay safe while travelling, visitors to the Dominican Republic should consider vaccines to prevent typhoid, hepatitis A and B as well as medication to prevent malaria, if traveling to certain parts of the D.R. Routine vaccines such as chickenpox and measles also should be up to date. For specific recommendations based on your itinerary, medical history and other factors, please schedule an appointment to consult with one of our travel medicine experts. Safe travels!
