Boyfriend and I went to get some groceries for our weeklong stay here in whitefish, and most employees were nice, and the selection was better than I anticipated (I was able to find more vegetarian and vegan items than i thought) the woman who rang us out was the rudest person I have ever encountered. We brought re-useable tote bags, and politely let her know we wanted to use them for our groceries, and she literally said “yes i see that i have eyes” with a scoff. when my allergy meds were maybe 2 inches further from her than the basket the rest of our stuff was in she barked at me to move it closer. then my boyfriend tried to use a visa gift card that we were given for this trip, she said “do NOT select gift card. credit then green” when he said okay then hit credit and paused to read the screen she loudly told him to press the green button and to “please listen.” she took literally every opportunity, and even made a few of her own, to be unkind and downright mean. She clearly wanted us to leave feeling dumb and worthless. I don’t know how she still has a job in customer service.
