The staff is friendly and helpful knowledgeable approachable they have a veteran's pod, family units if available, and they have a women's section and men's section you're required to do an assigned chore. They have washers and dryers the standard room has places to put clothes and toiletries. They have a very breakfast there's always cereal sometimes eggs you can sign up for a sack lunch, they will help with finding housing if not they at least give you a list of where to start and services available everybody's polite. You're required to leave the premises from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday you don't have to leave but all night you're required to be in by 10:00 p.m., unless you have a job between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. if so you're required to give them a copy of your schedule they serve dinner nightly with the exception of Saturday night and that meal is served at the old armory on the corner of Meridian Road and 2nd Street West adjacent to Peterson School. If you're in need of clothing they have plenty of donations to look through. They have showers with bathtub's. If you do not have laundry soap they will help you with that, if you need toiletries they have that as well and if you just talk to them and tell them what you need they will help you achieve your goal. You're required to turn in 5 to 10 housing applications per week you can stay two weeks, they will make exceptions however as long as it's verifiable. They work closely with all local services, they will help you fill out paperwork and get you connected with right service's. They have two computers available and a phone you just have to keep communication with your case manager, they have churches that come in and serve dinner on Friday nights and are always accepting donations. Their goal is to empower an individual that is trying to get headed in the right direction. I wasn't sure about the environment until I got here I had been sleeping in my vehicle for a while as my apartment of 9 years was sold and the new owners we're tripling my rent and I would have to start over with a new deposit and I don't get enough money on Social Security disability to be able to pay that. If you're looking to donate clothing items, they need winter coats men women and children, gloves, mittens, hat's, scarves.. hand warmers. They need just about everything you can think of. There's also a place called The warming Center I haven't been there so I don't know enough about it but it's an option I know they have showers and I believe laundry facility. I'm very grateful and blessed that a bed was open when I called as I had tried several times before with no success. You just have to keep calling chances are somebody won't show up or somebody will leave and the spot will open.

Amazing Place. I really like the Samaritan they served a lot of good food, and the beds were as hard as concrete. The homeless people are really great, I actually found my wife here 1921-2022 Me and her still live with each other here. Here is a photo of my wife she is very homeless.

Called to enquire about availability. Told the lady i was in temp housing that would end in a week. Her snarky, nearly angry response before she hung up on me? " call when ur homeless".

They have a full kitchen that is accessable via permission from the house staff otherwise it is staff use only. They do not store or refrigerate food for any of the guests and it is under constant lock and key.
Call their office and ask for their criteria.
They will let you in if you have a job that ends past curfew. You just have to provide the work schedule
