One of my favorite museums in carson. I'm a local and have been here many times. Great place to learn about the history of Nevada. My favorite is the dedication to our state native tribes. The exhibit showcases beautiful handmade baskets, moccasins, clothes and history of nevada tribes. I also love the underground mining exhibit! It's free to check this place out on Nevada day!

Did not feel like I learned much about Nevada State history and was disappointed compared to other State Museums (many of which are free). They have plenty of space but exhibits overall didn't capture my attention. Would have liked to walk away with a greater understanding and appreciation of Nevada history.

$8 for an adult, children under 17 are free. Please check their website for more info. I have been to the museum many times since the 1960s and still enjoy it.

No, the Museun Shop does not sell Mogan dollars. There is a good coin shop directly across the street that may have them - Northern Nevada Coin.

Yes worth it 4 sure and Im a tightwad.Lots of walking means lots to see...I think it is $7 for seniors.
