I've been to this store a few times and the staff has always been very helpful. I recently purchased a battery for my vehicle, but discovered it was the incorrect one. I came back to return the battery and the employee, Teresa, realized that they had an error in their catalogue immediately after entering in my vehicle information. Teresa quickly found my order, processed the return, and even got me core so that I could bring it to my mechanic who I had install the correct battery. Since I've worked for several years for a company that directly competes with O'Reilly, I know that errors like these happen. I was extremely impressed though with how Teresa handled the situation and with her automotive knowledge.

If you have something simple to buy and can find it on your own, and then wait to buy it, the employees will straight up ignore you. I'm sure it's great if you want to lean on the counter and discuss the pros and cons of a particular part aftermarket vs oem. But if it's something easy, you're better off going to a store where they have adequate staffing to check you out quickly.

I work part-time there, and this post of yours showed up on my phone for whatever reason. Since I am blocks away, I ran up there to find out what was happening. For reasons beyond their control, they had to close shop early. We were able to re-open and help the remaining customers for the night. Thank you for your post, and sorry that we weren't able to help you out. ** Yes, Mary, that is the store. **
Remember if you are not comfortable with the answers on here call O'Reilly ' s . They are great with answers I found the same info local guide Ron P found along with gapping and shade tree mechanic torque specs. Hope this helps
