My favorite restaurant in Oak Park. The ambiance is simply amazing and the patio is gorgeous. Food & drink is delicious!

I've been here a few times, and folks I know love, love, love this restaurant, although it’s one I only go to if my dining companions want to go – I’d not choose it if I had my druthers. It's in a busy section of bustling and stylish Oak Park, so it's great they have a parking service if you arrive by vehicle; otherwise, driving and parking in the area is a real hassle (come by public transit or ride share if possible). I've only encountered courteous staff here at all levels. It's nicely appointed, but the atmosphere is quite active, and some of us require calmer environs if we're going to sit a spell and dine – getting a booth here helps the experience feel more relaxed and settled. There's outdoor dining too, and that's swell. Extroverts and people-watchers would love the setting. The menu is varied and gets many kudos for creativity, uniqueness, and putting a reimagined touch to Latin American, Caribbean, and even Spanish cuisine. Whilst this is a friendly and well-machinated place on its good days, it's hard to be vegan here. The kitchen is very accommodating, but the menu just doesn't lend itself to many satisfying vegan options. I have not enjoyed my orders here (although they're beautiful to look at), but I know it's because it's just not my particular culinary preference. For omnivores, carnivores, and even certain lacto-ovo vegetarians who appreciate fresh takes and something out of the ordinary, Maya del Sol delivers. The setting and offerings are better suited to non-vegans who don't mind some hustle and bustle and like lively goings-on around them.

No parking lot but on busy nights when street parking might be tough they have valet service. Also, even on busiest night, I've always found a space within a block's walk. There's also a four story public garage a block away (just north on O.P. Ave. -- as you head north from the restaurant, turn right on North Blvd. (immediately past the train viaduct) and you'll be at the garage entrance.
No, it's not one of those kinds of places. Very nice atmosphere and hospitality is great as well as the food! Highly recommend 👌
Yes, for both food and drinks.
We have eight people and they won't let me book online. Am I missing something?
Not sure. Call them
The whole place is on one ground level and in the few place like the back garden there is a ramp.
Hello Ciara! Yes we do have a special kids menu at Maya! We also have crayons and pictures for kids to color with during their visit.
Sunday brunch has an assortment of Latin inspired dishes (think juevos racheros, chilaquiles); classics (french toast, special benedict, chef's omelete, fruit); several lunch options, and can't forget the $5 sangria!
