Dr. Elkattawy treated my son for a foot injury last May. He had a foot surgery and the experience we had at this place was great since the first day we walked in until my son was fully recovered with his foot. I would recommend Dr. E to anyone. Thank you for everything!

TERRIBLE...I made an appointment because I had some discoloration of my toenail after finishing chemotherapy and wanted to make sure it was not a fungus. Called me the morning of the appointment and said that Dr. Margolin was double booked but I could see Dr. Roble. When I went in for my appointment I explained that I finished chemotherapy a month ago and although the oncologist said discoloration of the nail is normal I wanted to confirm with a podiatrist. Dr. Roble was extremely rude and dismissive. Told me that soaking my foot, which my oncologist recommended was a waste and then proceeded to tell me how a toenail grows. Said he knows nothing about chemotherapy and its most likely a fungus and he needed to take a sample to confirm and then proceeded to clip off half of my toenail. I was told the results would be back in a week or two and I should make another appointment. I asked if the Doctor will call me with the results and was blown off. It has now been two and a half weeks with no call from the Doctor. I had followed up and was advised the results came in and he would call me. That never happened. I ended up having to call again, and thankfully the person who answered the phone told me that the results for fungus was negative. I believe Dr. Roble intentionally did not call with the results in order to have me make a follow up appointment and yet again pay my deductible. For someone who just spent the better part of a year fighting cancer I find this disgusting behavior. I would NEVER go to this practice again. UPDATE - A lovely women from NJ Foot and Ankle called me today after seeing my review. She listened to my concerns and was very apologetic (even though she did nothing wrong). I give the office credit for reaching out to patients that were clearly unhappy, listening to them, and hopefully learning from the experience.
