5-20-22 I stopped to recycle ♻️ aluminum cans and some trailer window frames and aluminum screen door s . They claimed aluminum cans are .70 a pound and I had 34 pounds witch should be 23.80 . For aluminum window frames and screen door s I got 1.45 , it was a little over 18 pounds of aluminum ( which I think there was more then that ( off 3 bedroom trailer ) . So they ripped me and who knows how many more people they do this to . Bad thing I ve used them for over 20 years , only because of gas ⛽ prices did I catch them. And when I brought it up to the boss . He went crazy😧 saying them aluminum windows were 0.08 a pound ! So I wouldn't recycle there anymore . Probably just leave it for the trash people. All the cuts on my hands taking the glass out and couldn't even buy gas for my time . Never ever will I recycle as long as I live in zanesville.then now I find out the BBB doesn't even recognize them as a business. Plus I been going there longer than most have worked there . And they wouldn't let me get my stuff back to prove what it's worth. Manager comes out saying it was dirty but never seen the stuff and why wouldn't I have cleaned it all up to scrap been living with only scraping for over 30 years . 22 years at muskingum iron and found out they are bad business BBB won't recognize them as a business . And now reading all the bad reviews on Google . Always clean my metal and check with magnets ( cause if a magnet don't stick it's worth more) my opinion stay far away from muskingum iron and metal .

I'm a truck driver and my company has sent me to pick up at this location a couple of times. It's not that bad if they gave 18 wheelers a little more room to back into the dock, they keep their scrap so close it's near impossible to get into the dock. Other than that the people are very friendly and helpful. More room to back in is my only issue with them

They were very nice and friendly! Was my first time there but I'll definitely be coming back if I get more scrap!
