The staff is always friendly and helpful. Aaron is super. They also have items for free. I've found shoes, hoodies, and housewares in excellent condition.

Their slogan is a lie. There's nothing stable about this place. This place should be shut down for fraud. They told me and my new SMHA landlord that they would pay the rent for the first month and even sent a promise to pay but when the day rolled around they didn't keep their word. Now I'm left with a 30 day notice of lease termination and the very real possibility of being back on the streets. They get government funding for people providing them with proof of disability from a therapist, which I did, but when it came time for them to do their part, they failed. Also, don't expect consistency from them. Their "housing outreach specialists" leave for new jobs all the time and make tons of promises they never keep. You'd be better off figuring it out for yourself. This place is useless. What makes it worse is that because there are so few nonprofits in this area, they lack competition, and therefore feel no need to treat people properly because in their eyes, if they need the help, they don't really have much of a choice but to come to them. This is a problem.

Call Homeless Hotline
Call homeless hotline but before you come back make sure you have somewhere to go when you return or they have an opening.
Id just go to the office & talk to a worker im sure they can explain the whole process
You have to call the homeless hotline 3304524363 for ican assistance
Yes
I am taking this to mean you need housing. To secure housing yes, you must contact the homeless hotline and jump through their hoops but this does not mean you will end up with ICAN Housing. It depends on what agency has openings when your name hits the top of the list. The Canton YWCA, Alliance for Families & Children and SMHA all take names from the homeless hotline also. Blessings.
You have to keep in contact with the homeless hotline to get into a shelter.
You must be homeless and registered with the homeless hotline.30 % of income is what HUD and the US government deems affordable. You do not have to have mental illness or be connected to services for ICAN to help, however, you do have to be homeless
