Very nice library. People are very friendly.

I'm saddened to be writing such a review, however the staff has made my experience change from a 5 star experience to a 0 if I could put it on here. I was informed by a staff member checking out my items that I would not be charged late fees, as renewals are automatic, however i received an email regarding my items stating I now owed nearly $200. When I checked out my items, I updated all of my info including my phone number and not once was I called by the library. When I called to inquire further, I was spoken to like I was incompetent and told that the library "doesn't make phone calls." So then why request that my phone number be updated? Any other library I have used in this network has given a phone call or at the very least an email when an item is considered overdue and due for a renewal. If i had been informed correctly, I would have renewed my items, however as stated above, this was not the case. At this point, my trust in what is supposed to be a free and public service is completely gone.

Beautiful Library, with friendly staff. Willing to go the extra mile with curbside pick up. They offer free classes to the public, and even take home crafts. From books, DVD's, puzzles, ...to cake pans! They are a wealth of opportunity in our town.

The library meeting rooms have sometimes been used to provide tax assistance, but some other organization (sometimes a government agency, sometimes a non profit organization) would was always involved in that: the library provided the meeting rooms, and someone else provided the actual assistance. In 2020 and 2021, the library's meeting rooms are unavailable because we are using them for staging quarantined materials during the COVID-19 pandemic; we wouldn't be allowed to use them for meetings anyway, because of the restrictions related to the pandemic. (Since most of our funding comes from state taxes, the governor's guidelines are more directly obligatory for us than they would be for a private business or independent non-profit group.) We look forward to a future when hopefully we will be able to put the COVID-19 restrictions behind us and provide a normal level of service to the public once again.
No, unfortunately. You can print from the library computers or a flash drive, but not from a phone or personal laptop.
