They rushed me out of my abusers home, seemed great at first. They gave me emergency housing in a hotel, clothes, and food. Even helped me find housing for my two cat until I got on my feet. But after a week they abruptly without notice or reason refused to help me any longer. They gave no reason no explanation. I am currently homeless writing this from the library, the only warm dry spot during the day. If I knew this would be the outcome of finally reaching out for help after 5yrs in a terrible situation I would have never left. Its hard enough leaving an abusive relationship. At least I had a roof over my head. Now I'm in a worse spot than what I was in the beginning. BEWARE OF THEIR FAKE CONCERN.THEY WILL DROP U AND NOT LOOK BACK.

I was thankful for the beautiful people that helped me when I needed it. Very safe place for women that have been abused. I was very blessed! Thank you!

I'm in an abusive marriage after 18 years I'm ready to leave him but I'm scared, where can I find help?

Sweetheart slimes. I left an abusive relationship of a little over 11 years. The shelter was the best decision I have ever made. They're amazing, loving, and actually care. It was the hardest thing I've ever done leaving my life behind. However I don't regret it at all. They helped me more than my own family helped. I hope this helps you. Without the help from the shelter. I'd be homeless or back in the same hell I lived for so many years. Best of luck
