City Dog is my pups favorite place to play while I'm working. Staff is friendly and very attentive to the dogs. My pups come home happy and tired after a day of playing with friends. Pricing is affordable and you can tell everyone on staff is an animal lover. Location is easy to find and get in and out of without hassle. If your looking for a great dig day care look no further than The City Dog!

I am one of those 'our dogs are my babies' kind of people. We travel often and use City Dog for boarding, so while I absolutely HATE leaving my dogs behind, I feel at peace knowing they are well taken care of. The people at City Dog truly treat our dogs with the love and care as if they were their own. Kylee always goes out of her way to proactively contact me with updates so I feel confident knowing my dogs are safe and happy. Courtney, Libby and Amanda have done that for me as well, which I appreciate so much. As a bonus, our dogs are able to board together in the same suite and we get a discount for the 2nd dog. If you love your dogs like I do, you can feel very comfortable leaving them with The City Dog.

I am not one to typically leave negative reviews on a business, but because negligence at a business like this puts the lives of animals at risk I found it necessary to do so. Within a one year period at least 3 dogs have died within this business with at least one of those being killed by another dog. A lack of proper fencing has resulted in dogs escaping the premises to roam the streets of downtown Columbus on multiple occasions. Inadequate air conditioning results in dogs not well adapted for heat to enter a state of physiological distress. Inadequate management fails to properly train employees, leaving them unequipped to handle dog fights. Additionally, employees are often left alone with far too many dogs to handle on their own, creating potentially dangerous situations where employees are unable to prevent multiple dogs from fighting. I would strongly advise you to avoid this place.
