For a place that should be a "community resource" they are some of the RUDEST people i have ever dealt with. Also they have managed to lose all of my paper work twice causing me to have to start all over 🙃 there is zero accountability here and Lacie S. Never answers her phone. I called back to back for hours multiple days in a row and left messages. Never even a call back. They simply do whatever they please and if you don't like it screw you is their attitude.

Hello, I would like to Thank everyone at Community Action and Those who started the CARES PROGRAM. The cares program and everyone involved helped save my life and helped me find the better me who was so lost and alone. Because of this program and the people involved helped me thru my recovery. And NOT ONE TIME sis I feel judged or made to feel less of a person. Actually I never felt so much LOVE from people I had just met. THEY say that there are ANGELS that walk among us daily. It's true because I was lucky enough to meet some of them. I've been in recovery now for over 2yrs and I'm so grateful for life and the cares program. Thank you so much for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself.....God Bless and keep moving forward....J. MC

Always been a great help when I needed it a couple of times. Yes they are super busy and the automated system has some scheduling issues, but the workers have always been very polite and prompt. They do so much for the community, and they should be acknowledged for the good things they do.

You may want to check into their home relief program. I believe they might be able to help.
That would be legal aid can help with that
They can. Just go early in the morning to be a walk in. 8-10 am. Must have ssn# for all people in the household and proof of shut off.
Only if your electric is thru A & E
Go to Job and Family Services. You may qualify for emergency cash and get a good samaritan voucher for food.
You sign up through Job and Family Services.
Yes they will help with deposit to obtain housing and rent if you have an eviction notice.
Who else would be able to help then?
