Really fun bar area, and beautiful scenery. The food is good, but not quite what I would have hoped for given the prices. They are also strict on changes to orders and split checks, annoying given the prices. But our waitress Mari was great!

A real different and quaint set up and atmosphere. This struck me as a restaurant that was trying to be very upscale but the quality just isn't quite there yet based on my experience. I ordered a medium rare steak It came well done and even though they took care of it It made for an awkward experience. We ordered wine and our glasses were not clean. We made a reservation and when we walked in the door they said they didn't have a reservation for us but they did find a table for us.. Anyways. It is very eclectic and has a unique feel and the decor is well done.

The biggest and best surprise of our mountain trip was this hidden gem. Don’t let the name fool you, Tabernash Tavern was not the average bar food we were expecting. The menu was expansive and rotating, with a range of cuisines and options. From lobster mac and wagyu steak to vegan crab cakes and ahi tuna poke, there were options for everyone. Prices were in line with the high quality of the food and everyone loved their meals. Service was great, and despite being a little more upscale then we anticipated, we still received the friendly, small town energy you would expect in a local favorite. Can’t wait to go back!!

The food was delicious!! Amazing flavors I would never have expected while so locked away in the valley. We had just baked a bunch of cookies when we called for our reservation so we weren’t the hungriest but didn’t want to cancel. My grandfather had the calamari and loved every detail. My grandmother had the French onion soup and beet salad, which she enjoyed very much, even commenting that the French onion was exquisite because it was not overly salty like most. The wine they recommended went with it perfectly. I had the Asparagus Bisque and the Caprese Salmon Tartar and loved every bite and was delighted with the touch of black sea salt! The only drawback was the fact that they refused to sell a side of mashed potatoes, I love mashed potatoes and was very disappointing.
