Great place to camp or stay in cabin. There is a $20 animal fee, you can have two pets up to 85#'s. Great little town and Covington,LA this is where we buy our groceries at Rouse Gro and meat's. They carry everything Cajun.

Can you tent camp at Abita springs

Great question. We do not have any tent sites. We do allow tents next to the RV's if the kids like to sleep outdoors, but our campground is most comfortable with an RV.

What does it cost for membership and how does it work? I understand it's around $13k??? How do you get all the information?

Jay Castagnetta | Oct 16, 2018
Scotty Trosclair | Oct 16, 2018

They dont tell you but you can buy a second hand membership. They have them listed on the web. I'd take the time to pay a lawyer to look into the paperwork to know for sure what your getting into. I've seen some full memberships for around $2,500. I believe that they have an annual fee around $500 to $750. They do seem to have nice parks but they pack in spots and your close to your neighbor at all the campgrounds we've been to so far.
