Last night my husband's blood pressure went super high and he went to the emergency room at 8:00 pm . Finally got to see a PA at 5:00pa the next morning. We have never in our 71 years seen a more filthy hospial in our lives!! Very disorganized. Not enough staff and my husband was told he should not even have been there. Very scary for heath care for this area. Please look into these problems! Thank you 😡

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.. THIS IS THE WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE EVER GONE TO. I WOULD NOT TAKE ANY ONE HERE. YOU SIT IN THE LOBBY FOR A VERY LONG TIME ,THEN TO FINALLY GO TO A ROOM , THE DOCTOR LOOKS AT YOU LIKE HE DONT KNOW WHETHER HE IS GOING OR COMING. I GOT THERE ABOUT 2:45PM AND AT 7PM THE DOCTOR STILL HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING.. YOU HEAR THE STAFF LAUGHING AND TALKING ABOUT WHAT THEY LIKE TO EAT. WHAT THEY DID YESTERDAY, NO ONE REALLY DOING ANY KIND OF WORK. ONE PATIENT BESIDE ME WAS SUFFERING SAID SHE HAD BEEN THERE SINCE 7AM. SHE WAS ASKING FOR WATER OR ICE CUBES. HERE IS WAS 7PM AND SHE WAS STILL SUFFERING LIKE ME. WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS LEAVING THAT IS WHEN EVERYONE WANTS TO CHECK ON ME THEN BUT I LEFT ANYWAY. THIS HOSPITAL IS A DISGRACE. I GIVE THIS HOSPITAL A -10 RATING. THE HIGHEST NEGATIVE. IF YOU WANT TO LIVE. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Took my boyfriend to the ER here in June 2018 for an asthma attack. It was around 2:30 am and he couldn’t find an inhaler. He could hardly talk to the registration employee and still waited 2 hours. Finally when he was called into a room, he explained his issue and he was not taken seriously. He continued to wait another hour before he received any treatment. It was the most traumatic frustrating experience for him and thus leaves our community vulnerable and at risk. Since this hospital was purchased by Vidant, it has not gotten any better. Another family member of mine was involved in a car accident in January 2022, and went to the ER for scalp lacerations and possible concussion. He had glass in his lesions and blood streaming down the back of his head. The ER staff told him to go home and clean his scalp of glass and debri. The staff there was less than beneficial to him and completely did him a disservice. There needs to be thorough investigations and monitoring throughout this hospital because the community is suffering.

Waited nine hours for just a Tylenol. When I was final seen the doctor belittled and acted like I was an addict or something. Refused to believe I was there nine hours even after my bracelet said otherwise. He was basically mocking me. Nurses we nice enough. Doctor was a completely rude and unprofessional. By the time he gave me my Tylenol I was too tired and hurt to care. I decided I was better off dying at home. Well, I'm still here. And that was a waste of time. Ovarian cyst repturing are apparently a joke to them. First time I ever went they went above and beyond to take care of us. Second time as well. Well, after this visit never again.
