This was the first zoo trip my boyfriend has ever been on! He’s 26 but he was so amazed by all the close up animals. The animals looked healthy and active, as they could be. Their enclosures looked nice, we even met a chimp with a cheetah blanket, he was adorable! The bat house was really unique, I’ve been to a couple zoos in my life but never had an experience like that. The swampland exhibit was amazing too. I love how they educate people on the animals as well and provide information about their status as endangered or not. They inform visitors about a lot of charities and organizations around the world that are working to help the animals, and that’s the best reason to visit: your money isn’t just going towards keeping animals in the zoo, they have breeding programs for endangered animals and work with conservation groups to keep them alive in the wild too.

You could do it on one day but it would be pushing it & depends on how long you spend going through & the age of the people or children going with you. Also depending on the weather forecast.
